Chloe Bunde (b.1998, Pittsburgh, PA) is an artist interested in Abstraction, the post-internet condition, and the politics of the image. Her practice spans painting, photography, performance, video, and installation. She is heavily influenced by her studies in Fibers and Queer Feminist theory. She also has an ongoing collaboration with artist Annabelle Parrish based in improvisational performance.
Bunde is currently pursuing her MFA in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design. She holds a BFA in Painting with studies in Fibers from SCAD as well. Her academic career began at Scripps College, providing the basis for her critical theory education. Her paintings have been in various group exhibitions such as the Reinterpretation of Dreams at Artstryngs, Identify at The 5Hundred21 Art Lounge, Scripps Studio Exhibition, SCAD Fibers Open Studio, and several SCAD Painting Showcases. Her work was in a large scale digital installation for SCAD Atlanta and she has painted murals for Pitzer College in Claremont, California, and the Conflict Lab in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been a featured artist in the SCAD 2026 Fine Arts Showcase, Juxtapoz Magazine, Brenda Friday Design, and Courtland & Co.
